CURRENT ORDER PROCESSING TIME IS: 3-4 BUSINESS DAYS. The cut-off to place orders to be delivered in time for Thanksgiving with UPS Ground shipping to the following states: ME,NH,MA,RI,CT,NJ,DE,MD,VA,NC,SC,GA,FL,AL,MS,LA,TX,AR,TN,KY,WV,PA,NY,OH,IN,MI,IL,WI was NOVEMBER 13TH. THE UPS 3-Day Select is now required for the orders to arrive before Thanksgiving. We have not reached the cut-off date for the remaining states but it will be in the next few days depending on order volume.

About Us

In 2005 we acquired the African Hut, a small local shop selling a few South African groceries. Over the next three years we built the African Hut into a mega store and created an online website, as well as establishing two more retail stores; British Food Shop and International Food Shop. We also started an importing and distribution chain through our wholesale business; SA Import Company. As a group of companies we import from several different countries from across the world, and distribute to retailers across the USA.

We sell instore to our local customers, and online to customers all over the US. Our priority has always been to offer the largest selection of products possible, offering each customer an opportunity to taste a piece of home.
